I purchased the BTS 300H for use on my motorcycle and after reading a review on the internet. It is reported that it pairs well with the Garmin Zumo 600.
I have found that it does pair well with the Garmin and it works well for the Garmins MP3 player.
The Microphone has such limited sensitivity adjustment that the only way to use the microphone for phone calls is in a closed room void of any other noise. I contacted the IMC Motocom via Benchmark Helmets 501 Superior Ave Newport Beach, CA by email and the only advise that was offered was to hold the microphone farther from my mouth. Not only had I tried that, but I even tried masking the microphone.
I would definately offer the advice to seek other products when wanting to purchase a motorcycle headset.

I've had two of these units for month now and just got back from a 2200 mile trip. When working these are great. When working is the operative phrase here. As advertised, I have paired a phone, a Zumo 550, and the pillion helmet; I have also had the Phone, iPod and helmet to helmet connection. Unfortunately, while the communications are clear, the unit takes too long to come to volume, meaning that I miss most of the GPS instructions. Also when I get a phone call, it drops the GPS pairing entirely. And I actually can no longer pair the GPS. It also now drops the channel 2 pairing when a call is received. With the iPod, it doesn't mute, it actually pauses it meaning that I have to restart the unit (really a problem when it is in your pocket), and then it is intermittent whether I can hear the music again.

So far I'm very disappointed.

Spencer,

Thanks for the comment. I am glad to know that you guys got the website problem fixed. I was beginning to get worried when I was unable to contact you to return a product that was not functioning properly.

I think that my update at http://www.mymotorcycletravels.com/benchmark-helmets-and-bluetooth-motorcycle-intercom-update/ made it clear that I was pleased with the ease of handling the return after contacting you. I will keep my readers updated on the progress of replacing my BTS-300 unit.

I can understand technical issues keeping emails from being routed properly, and I am not going to hold it against you. Thank you for letting me and my readers know what the problem was!

Steve,

I came across your website review, great job... In regards to the lack of response to email, somehow the email us page had malfunctioned and was not forwarding emails properly on the imcmoto.com website.

Hopefully you understand and the issue has since been resolved.
