Thanks for the write-up. I drove this route today (from Pittsburgh) in my Mazda Miata and it’s also a great sports car ride. I did see the Home Town restaurant but wasn’t hungry when I hit Woodsfield.

There was also zero traffic (being a weekday no doubt helped) and it felt like I had the road to myself. I did the route down and back. Nice trip.

Hi there, thank you for your report on this scenic drive. I plan to visit Ohio next month for a couple of days and I am so excited about doing this scenic drive! My family and my best friend’s family will be taking the drive together. we’re hoping to find a spot with a view of the river to stop and have a picnic. I hope the route does not have a lot of traffic. I’m hoping for a nice, quiet drive in the country where we can stop, take in the scenery and take loads of photos.
